A Good Day for a Hike

BD and I headed out early (ish) and walked the out and back Araby Trail. It was a great hike with lots of switchbacks which made it relatively easy. BD is still having some issues from the knee surgeries he’s had (nine I think?) and my knees and orthotics did not get along well so out with the orthotics and with time (and professional care) the knee will heal. I took a few (LOL) pictures along the way and for my bird loving friends you will love the photos at the end… just for you KM!

Flora! Actually, there is a lot of green in the mountains. We haven’t had flooding rains – just enough to keep things beautiful.
I wasn’t able to identify the species, but someone has very kindly put some of them on display – but DO NOT FEED THE BIRDS!

BOB DOESN’T LIVE HERE ANYMORE! Or so the signs say. Well, some say BOB IS DEAD. Really?? Here is his house, I’m sure I saw him putting!!! So this is a panorama of Palm Springs from near the top of Araby Trail (we did not make it all the way). We did go further up the trail than this but this is where I did my panorama from. I just wish they ‘showed’ better!
