This week we focused on Minimalism. Honing in on our subject and finding what is important in the scene or object that has drawn our attention. Again, Britt is very kind in her critique and observations of what we submitted as a whole. She did point out though that my second submission, the spice mandala, was beautiful but did not give the feeling of Quiet because of the colours. I did worry about that when I submitted it but had hoped that my close in perspective might help – it did a bit.
I liked that we focused on food in this week’s lesson – I like food.
Food is good. Food is difficult. Congratulations for venturing down that road. From a minimalist objective, I think you could have pared down the elements in no 3 even more. A Supportive Cheers
I completely agree. I did have a few with just one but lost the colour theme I was going for. I could have played with my set up and maybe introduced a softer element as well as subtle colour to maintain that overall look using just one of the macrons.
