Our new digs in Rancho Mirage, thanks to K & K, has been a boon for birds so far. There’s a crafty Vermillion Flycatcher (but not too crafty for me, LOL) and a very curious Verdin who has been checking out the pool. Enjoy these beauties!

Another day another hair do!
He really is so beautiful BUT he taunts us! He is so quick and knows when there’s a camera pointing at him. We are actually quite a distance from his home trees but I have a big lens and the ability to crop – big time!
Last one. I actually had a lot of images of empty branches and blurs of red/black. I will try to get him in flight before I leave. No promises but I am going to try!
