Baubles and Bucket Lists – part II

When Katie Kat and I got to the Boneyard it was still daylight and we were directed to an area near the parking lot. The sun was still making everything bright and I worried (of course) that we would not get enough darkness for all the shiny and brights. As you saw from the previous post that very happily did not transpire.

This part of the Neon Museum Boneyard is more like what I would call a junkyard and possibly where the Boneyard name comes from(?). All the beautiful abandoned bits and bobs! I do love abandoned stuff – it’s provides such great subject matter for photography.

This cultural museum is seriously the coolest I have ever been to. I would go again for the tour when I have time just to learn about the history, culture and design. Remember though, no pics during those tours (just cell and tablet shots). Here are the rest of my images.

What do you think? Wouldn’t this be a super venue for a tour or, dare I say it, AN EVENT!!!
